Funding from international donors
NCA has received funding for its programmes from various international donors, in addition to funding from Norway, through the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad).
These positive developments, both in terms of turnover and funding diversification, are due to increased resources dedicated by HO and COs to securing institutional funding and the expansion of global humanitarian programmes, including a stronger focus on gender-based violence in emergencies (GBViE).
Key achievements in securing a broader institutional donor portfolio include a partnership with USAID’s Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA), including from OFDA and the Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration (BPRM). Another notable achievement was receiving a Framework Partnership Agreement (FPA) approval, from the Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG ECHO).
NCA is CHS certified.
NCA is registered with the Norwegian Control Committee for Fundraising.
